Does anybody know what has happened to the BT SIN 498 approved firmware for the 2860ac, seeing as how it's now March?

its on the download page 3.8.2 is compliant...

I don't think thats correct, according to the current approved modem list on the Cerberus website:



The modem firmware that has been approved is 05.07.06.0D.01.07 and the 3.8.2 firmwares are 05.07.04.x or earlier (according to the release notes).

I'm sure the 498 approved versions will be out before too long and labeled as 'SIN 498 compliant' on the download page.

Yes the firmware is fully compliant and approved.For current products (such as Vigor 2860 and 2760 ), existing owners will be able to upgrade their firmware to make their products SIN498 compliant.

This upgrade is free of charge. The Vigor 2850 and Vigor
2750 products, last sold in approximately mid-2013, were based on a chipset which
does not support some of the new mandatory requirements of SIN498, for
example G.INP and Vectoring. It is therefore not possible to make
those products SIN498 compliant or submit them for MCT approval.

So I am not sure whats going on as I asked the question on Monday regarding 3.8.2 as the above is what I got

Draytek.com now have 3.8.2.2 available.

No mention of BT SIN 498 in the release notes, this looks to be a re-release of 3.8.2.1 which was briefly availble mid Feburary.

I'm not at home to test the firmware version included but will update tonight.

I'm running 3.8.2.2 on my 2860 and it's working great.

FYI, firmware is 05-07-04-03-00-07
