Hello, i have a strange problem with a 2830n V2 and BT Business broadband and i'am at a loss as usually these things take 10minutes to setup and so far it has taken 3 hours and still no further.

Ok, If i plug in the BT Hub everything works as usual, comes online in 2min,
yet if i plug in the Draytek the DSL just sits there flashing slowly (as if there is no ADSL at all),
this is the second router as the first had the same problem so presumed the ADSL modem part was borked and returned it, now have replacement and still No ADSL
i have updated the firmware to latest, replaced the ADSL Filter, replaced the cable.

setup using the usual BT settings ie.
Multi PVC: channel 1
VPI 0
VCI 38
encapsulation: VC MUX
protocol PPPoA
Modulation: multimode
MTU: 1492

PPP: PAP or CHAP
correct BT username/pass

tried using the Wizard and manual settings, no change, no ADSL
of course if i plug in the BTHub it works in 2minutes flat

what is the SNR? I have found some 2830s don't like it if the SNR is very low but you plug in an old Netgear or the BT hub then it works....

i have no SNR at all, its as if the cable isnt plugged in, hence i changed the cable and filter to rule that out, i checked to make sure its a UK router which it is, bizzare
