Hi all,

I've recently acquired a Draytek Vigor 2830n-Plus and just this weekend have upgraded my Broadband from Virgin Media to 200Mbps.

Last night, I connected my Laptop to the Super Hub 2ac, reset to factory defaults, took two speedtests and I got 212Mbps/13Mbps (down/up), then switched it to Modem Mode and connected the Vigor 2830n-Plus to the WAN2 port. All testing is done via Ethernet, CAT6.

I used the Draytek Firmware 3.6.8.4db which is the latest, and used the .rst variant to set it all to factory defaults then connected the Super Hub to it.

I can only get around 110Mbps/12.5Mbps from the Draytek Vigor 2830n-Plus.

QoS is disabled on all WAN's, DoS is also disabled and WAN2 is set to Auto negotiation. Load balance is ticked, should this have any bearing on speed?

Any advice appreciated, thanks!

According to the following table
http://www.draytek.co.uk/products/comparison
the 2830n is only rated to 90 Mbps so think you are lucky to get 110

I suppose it makes little difference that I've got the 2830n-Plus model? I'll probably have to hold out for the 2860n-Plus model for it to give me the right capacity, it's a shame really, looks like a decent piece of kit that a friend gave to me.
