Vigor 130 was created by shonk
I picked up a vigor 130 to replace my ECI Openreach modem the other day
My dslam is also eci to match with the Vigor 130's chipset

Mainly to be able to see my line stats without lots of messing around

My line syncs at 79995 Fastpath 20000 Fastpath on a 9db ds and 12db us margin

before connecting up the Vigor 130 i flashed the lastest openreach approved firmware
http://www.draytek.co.uk/download/support/v130_374BT.zip

and used the rst version
setup everything and plugged it up
anyway over around 6 hours i had id say 5 reboots and one hard power down

the next day dlm dropped me to 73xxx/19999 Interleave

Doesnt the Vigor 130 support last gasp?
Doesnt the Vigor 130 report to the dslam its rebooting for routine maintenance?

Well, if this is over only a couple of days, maybe it's going to keep changing for the moment. Would dying gasp only be sent if it was actually closed down 'nicely' rather than just switched off, I'd guess.

Right, so it can only send a dying gasp if it knows it's about to die (and if it has an aux power source). The source could be a capacitor I suppose if it's big enough to provide power for whatever time it takes to send the gasp... I've no idea if it's supported and turning the switch off might not be the same... Obviously I don't know :-)

Its back to how its supposed to be now
but i dont think the modem is reporting a routine reboot like it should do to the dslam
hence setting off dlm the day i set it up

on a side note the upstream reported snr is wrong on the web interface
can we get this fixed?

my upstream snr is 12 db but the interface is reporting 9db (my ds margin)
