Vigor2710n and USB Flash drive was created by garydrew
I have a Vig2600 wired router with a Vigor2710n connected and acting as a WAP.
I have tried attaching a USB flash drive to my Vigor2710n but cannot access it.

When trying to use the Vigor2710n web interface under USB Application >> File Explorer nothing is shown. I have tried different flash drives.

In the past I have connected via my home network to other computes using addressing such as \\Gjdpc1\WIN98D1 (it was long time ago) but cannot identify this type of addressing for the Vigor2710n flash drive. Am I approaching this the wrong way?

I am running Windows XP on my main computer.
Vigor2710n Firmware version: 3.6.8_2471201, 2471201_A Hardware: Annex A
My intention is to use the USB for short-term backup storage and access between different computers/laptops.
