Brand-new 2760 router with very simple configuration applied:

  • PPPoE passthrough for wired LAN checked

  • Management IP address set (and return route added via SSH)

  • Admin password set

Under 3.7.8.2 this works fine. Under 3.8.1 the PPPoE listener seems not to work, either if upgraded or reset and configuration re-applied. Downgrading to 3.7.8.2 via Web firmware upgrade utility immediately brings back the functionality. Under 3.8.1 the firewall behind the device never receives PADO packets.

This problem was reported to Draytek back in February. I now have this configuration deployed on two devices at two different locations with different ISPs and the results are the same.

Exactly the same issue here with two 2760's, both at different locations

PPPoE passthrough broken on both 3.8.1 from Draytek UK website and 3.8.2 from Draytek.com website

I'll have to roll back to 3.7.8.2 and try that, hopefully it will be fixed in the next release....

The new 2760 firmware 3.8.2.1BT solves this issue for me
