Hi all,

Can you please advise whether this router can be used on fibre internet connections?

I've heard that you might be able to use some kind of bridge mode to get it to work in conjunction with a cheap fibre router.

Many thanks.

no wan port on the 2800, so no chance, throughput would very limited.

Thanks for the information...RIP old routers then.

What replacement would you recommend?

2860 has a built in vdsl modem (and a wan port), so would do.... but I went for a separate modem (130) and router (2925) approach.

All depends on how much functionality you require (and how many flashy LEDs you want to see!)
