Could anyone please guide me on how to setup SNMP on a AP900 ?

SNMP is listed in the features of the AP900 but i cannot find any options to set it

System Maintenance - SNMP?

The feature requires 1.1.8 firmware and it supports SNMP v2 and v3. With that firmware, it's under the [System Maintenance] menu.

You can use iReasoning MIB Browser to do an SNMP walk on the AP once SNMP has been enabled to check the functionality; when using SNMPv2, it uses the Read Community of "public" and the Write Community of "private". It's best to use SNMPv3 if it will be exposed to the internet but iReasoning's free version doesn't support that
