Vigor 2960 Performance was created by agility
I've just put in a Vigor 2960 and I'm seeing some odd issues compared to the firewall that it replaced.

1. Occassionally the lan stops responding completely - only for 5-10 seconds, then it comes back as if nothing happened. I can't pin it down to any particular event/date/time.
2. Pinging the Vigor from the lan-side returns delays anything from <1ms to 60ms, compared to the consistent 1ms it used to be on the old Netgear unit

I've got two WANs (one static, one PPPOE), and six VLANS. VLANS 1, 10, 12 and 13 are data and have servers providing DHCP, VLAN 5 is for the IP phones and the Draytek is doing DHCP, VLAN 6 is guest wifi and again the Draytek is doing DHCP.

I've got a bit of 1-1 NATting going on for some devices (9 profiles in total) and 9 Policy Routing rules assigning various traffic to different WANS.

Dud unit, or am I trying to do too much with this Draytek?

Yup it's on the latest for both. I've got another one ordered, I'm going to build the config from scratch and swap over to see if there's a difference.
