telnet 2960 reboot was created by jonmcg
One of our 2960s lost it's http/https. This means get no login screen and various error messages from browsers.
However telnet still worked.
I found a restart service command but when I tried it for http I got a unix style error.
/etc/rc.common: kill: 14: Usage: kill[-signal....

Other services would restart ok.
I then discovered I could not find a reboot command using telnet.
The cli reference manual for the vigors appears to be written for a different geneartion of hardware.
Does anyone know if there is any documentation for telnet with the 2960 and/or you can reboot the device using telnet?

That's unfortunate - there's a telnet command guide available on the UK downloads page for the 3900, which also applies to the 2960:

It looks like the command "system reboot" should restart it when it's in enable / configure mode.
