Set up weekly quota was created by mcgowas
Hi There,

I have a 2830 which I have setup user accounts with quotas and they are working fine. using "http://just.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=5277&Itemid=293&lang=en"

I need to be able to refresh the "Quota" weekly, automaticaly, because I will forget!!! :D

I initially selected each day of the week in the schedule and set from 00:00 with 23:59 as the amount of time available. What happens at the end of each day is the quota is refreshed.

This is with the "Reset quota to default when scheduling time expired" is selected and time set to 0 and data set to 2gb.

the reson for the limitation is that we run of a 4g connection and only have 32gb available per month.

many Thanks in advance for any help.

You could just set the schedule to only occur on a Sunday at midnight? The most it can do is a week though, not two weeks or a month.

The Vigor 2860 / 2925 / 2760 / 2832 routers have the WAN Budget facility, which does specifically what you're after in that it can allocate a specified amount of data that can be used per WAN, per month (or other schedule), and warn about or shut off the connection when it runs out.
There's a demo interface of a Vigor 2832 with it here, under the WAN menu: http://eu.draytek.com:12832/
