DrayTek 2830 Admin Issues was created by lukemelling
Good Evening All,

We've seen a couple of issues with our DrayTek(S) recently..
I access the DrayTek via HTTP and log in as normal, the page refreshes and doesn't give me any error message but doesn't log in..
If I enter an incorrect username I.E one not set up on the DrayTek, I get an invalid username/password error.

I have created another user via Telnet:
> user edit 6 -v
User Profile [6]
enable status : [enable]
User Name : [luke]
Idle Times : [10] mins
Max User Login : [0]
External Server Auth : [None]
[Disable] Time quota : [0] mins
[Disable] Data quota : [0] MB
Firewall Policy : Set[1]-Rule[0]

- this account works, but redirects me to the Draytek.co.uk website, indicating that something isn't quite set up on the account to Administer the DrayTek (I imagine)

but for the life of me, I can't see anywhere I would need to set any privileges for this account??, unless I'm doing anything wrong.

We have restarted the DrayTek, I have also via Telnet disabled the http & https server & re-enabled but no luck.

Hopefully someone has the answer?

Thanks,
Luke Melling
