Hi!

We installed a new Draytek 2860n running v3.8.2.3_BT when superfast broadband was enabled.

We saw some intermittent disconnects and thought it might be the new broadband service.

Running some continuous pings to several www resources revealed random time outs of a few seconds. I had to leave the pings running and saving to a text file as for 10+ minutes the service would be fine.

By chance I spotted the timeouts happened when a wireless client was "used". Pings were working fine until a user with a wifi enabled phone came into the building and connected to the Draytek SSID.

A temporary solution has been achieved by disabling the wireless radio in the router. There are now zero timeouts on the ping tests and has been for several days.

It is a very simple router configuration, two PCs, printer, mobile devices.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
