We have a Vigor 3900 and an internal VPN server which our current firewall with the use of NAT and Firewall rules routes traffic through into our internal network on authentication. In light of the apple policy change in ios 10 and the removal of PPTP my users can no longer connect to our vpn. I have allowed the ports through that L2TP uses but still get no connectivity. It's definitely the firewall as if I try to connect internally using the vpn direct to the server it works perfectly.

I think its because I need to let through the ESP Protocol 50. But can't find how to do this. - Can anyone direct me please.

I recommend contacting support about this issue, I've come across this previously and passing IPSec through may require some specific configuration.
