Has anyone managed to get these working together with the Hitron in modem only mode?

Or any way to be honest.

Still awaiting a Hitron unit as part of a line speed upgrade, and I will be looking to run it modem only (replacing SuperHub 2AC) so hope to be able to post back soon.

Hi LiamHalley,
How far have you got/what's the problem you've got at the moment - your comments suggest you're not getting connected at all ?
Cheers
Simon

We have a 2860n working with a Hitron is that helps?

Hitron is set to router mode and we then DMZ the DrayTek WAN IP

Hitron modem arrived today, and speed upgraded, install engineer checked a few things out and put a 3db FPA in-line to drop the signal a bit, did a couple of speed tests, then left the Hitron in what I would call router/hub mode, but I believe is now referred to as gateway mode ?
So, straight in to the admin GUI and changed it into modem mode (disable the gateway mode), it wants to do a reboot, so let it reboot with laptop still directly attached (via LAN cable to port 1) once it was back up, checked out speed and everything fine, so plugged into 2925 (WAN2 port - only 'cos I have BT VDSL in WAN1), default settings (DHCP enabled, default MAC address) then manually set the DNS to google's servers, rebooted the 2925 just to check everything out, and it's just working fine.
So this is working for me in modem mode.
Can you shed some light on what, exactly, you've done/tried/configured so we can compare notes ?
Cheers
Simon

And just found another interesting feature of the Hitron - I can access it (192.168.100.1) from my LAN !
Couldn't do that with the SuperHub 2AC - means I can actually get at some network info without having to plug a PC in direct :o
Wonder how long that "feature" will get left on ?
