I see the Draytek Vigor 2860 Router has a Gigabit WAN port and that supports 1000M Full duplex.

Now I know the firewall has a maximum throughput of 300 Mbps (unsure if that is full or half duplex), but if the firewall options are disabled, does the 2860 Router allow full gigabit speed from WAN to LAN?

So what is the maximum permissible WAN to LAN speed in both regards to simultaneous upload and download speeds?

I take it the direct LAN-to-LAN communications are not limited by the 300 Mbps firewall throughput bottleneck.

sorted this out, connected my NAS to the WAN port on the 2860 and configured the "Default Gateway" on each end to point to the other end.

Even with the firewall disable, the throughput from the WAN to LAN side did not exceed 300 Mbps.
