QOS using Dual WAN - Vigor 2860 was created by andymac1966
Morning Folks,
I couldn't find an answer for this searching the forums, so apologies if it's been asked before...

I've got a Vigor 2860 operating in Dual WAN mode. Both lines as ADSL+ from Zen. Load balancing is working well and is session based.

I tried to set up QOS the other day as I wanted to try and set higher priority to some of the IP's on my network over others, however I can't see how to set QOS across both balanced WAN's.

Am I missing something fundamental in the set-up ?

Thanks in advance,
Andy

Can I ask, both your lines, do they use the same DNS servers?

Hi,
Yes they are both on the same DNS servers through the same ISP.

OK mine were not but forced 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and appears to have solved my problems.

Let me read your description again, and have a re-think.

Andy

I would give them Policy Route Rules with failback configured. What version of Firmware are you running? Regardless update it at your most convenient moment, just wanted to know if it was fairly late so you can at least play.

Any screenshots of your settings would be nice. What are the IP ranges / subnets etc?

Cheers

Pete
