I have just started with a Vigor2860ac, Firmware Version 3.8.4.2_BT.

I want to take a backup of the complete unit. Is everything included in the ”System Maintenance >> Configuration Backup” facility or do I separately have to Backup IP Bind List and Firewall?

Yes, the cfg backup stores everything with the exception of certificates. You only need to worry about that if you generated certificates using the certificate managment or imported certificates from elsewhere into the certificate management. There is a separate backup function for certificates (It's called Certificate Backup in the certificate management menu) that you can use to backup and restore certificates.

Reason you might add cert is for things like HTTPS and SSL VPN usage.
