I have a Vigor2860ac, Firmware Version 3.8.4.2_BT that went live last week with Infinity 2. The line has never made the guaranteed minimum speed and deteriorated badly this morning, to their credit BT have acknowledge the issue and booked an engineer for Monday. I’m trying to understand the routers VDSL stats, it’s showing attenuation of 20dB down 31dB up. Does anyone know how these are calculated in relation to the D1, D2, D3 and U1, U2, U3 bands, are the given figures just for the lower bands or an average across the three? I am 300m from the PCP/DSLAM cabinets and I understand the D1 figure should be lower than indicated.
