BT Net Fibre Ethernet was created by firebits
Hi

Im migrating from ADSL to BT Net Fibre Ethernet (50mbps on a 100mbps circuit). I've never actually used a fibre Ethernet circuit before, and I'm struggling to see if the existing Draytek 2860 would be compatible with this. Does anyone know?

You could use WAN2 (Ethernet) to connect to BT's Ethernet termination

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Do you know if I need to just setup a Static IP on the interface or would it require PPoE?

I'd guess static...or possibly dynamic depending on what the BT device gives..but then again
I suppose it could be PPPoE (but seems unlikely).
