I have a 2830 (non-wireless). I know this is getting long in the tooth now and maybe that's answering my own question. I am on Virgin's 200MB service and get 200+ using the wi-fi on the Virgin hub/modem. When I use wired via the Draytek I am only seeing ~115. I have checked all settings, to the extent that I know what I am doing, and nothing is obviously wrong. I am also on the latest firmware. DDOS is off.

Is this simply a case of the 2830 not being capable of handling those input speeds?

What would be a suitable replacement if that's the issue?

The only spec I can quickly find says WAN throughput is about 90 Mb on the 2830 so it looks like you need to replace the unit with something like a 2860 to get 200 Mb throughput

That was my suspicion, borne out by the results I am seeing. Many thanks for the prompt reply, greatly appreciated.
