Someone help me please I'm having a nightmare port opening ports on my Router.

All the management ports seem to be fine. I have checked these on a port checking tool.
However when I open any new ports and set up port redirection they do not seem to open.

I am trying to port forward on from our public ip to a internal device on port 9101.

I have done this a thousand times before but for some reason it does not see to be working on this one.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Tried on my 2860 and it worked. Ok, so it's not a 2830 but I thought I'd check in case it was some draytek hidden/forgotten port common across all the routers. But no, it's not.

Stab in the dark: no chance that your ISP is blocking it?

We have a BT Net leased line, Checked with them and nothing is blocked Jedi.

I have just removed all the port forwarding etc restarted and reset up and restarted again for good measure but get the same issue.

Can you try a different port (lower) in case there's something funny about that one.
