Just wondering if anyone knew what the commands are to enable bitswap on the upload on a vigor 130?

So far, I've tried:

vdsl optn bitswap /US 1

follwed by

vdsl savecfg

and rebooted it, but my vdsal status more still show bitswap disabled on the near end.

When you look at detailed line statistics (vdsl status more) 'Near end' is actually the downstream. 'Far end' is upstream the exchange/cab.

vdsl optn bitswap us 1

Will enable the upstream bitswap

vdsl optn bitswap ds 1

Will enable the downstream bitswap

vdsl optn bitswap bi 1

Will enable bidirectional bitswap

As you said 'vdsl savecfg' to save

Ah thanks, that makes sense.

I assumed near end was settings on the modem and far end was what the exchange was reporting for it's settings. :lol:
