USB FTP server was created by danv
Hi,
On a Draytek 2925 I want to setup a USB stick as an FTP server (internal and external access).
I have followed the guide but it doesnt seem to be working.
When in the file explorer screen it doesnt seem to display the folders on the USB, the same in the file location screen.
The USB is not write protected and works fine in pcs' etc.
Any suggestions why this could be?

The reason i mention the file explorer is that I get this response from Filezilla...
Status: Connecting to XXXXXXXX:2211...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters.
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Status: Server sent passive reply with unroutable address. Using server address instead.
Command: LIST
Response: 550 :No such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Command: CDUP
Response: 550 <NULL>:No such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Status: Connection closed by server

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thank you

Found your post trying to get FTP working as well. I got mine working as you sound like you are barking up the right tree. Have you specified a home folder for the user?

I've got a 2925, and can connect fine with Filezilla

Status: Connecting to 192.168.100.254:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters.
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Status: Directory listing of "/" successful

My FTP user has a home folder defined in the format of "/home_folder" (sans the double quotes), and is currently ticked for all File and Directory options.

The "/home_folder" location exists on the UDB stick, and can be viewed via the File Explorer option under USB Applications, if the home folder directory doesn't exist, then try creating it (you can use either a PC or the File Explorer feature to do this)

also just noticed you are using a non standard port number, are you connecting from a WAN or LAN port. Have you tried putting it back to the standard of 21 to see if that helps - just to aid troubleshooting,
