2860 = NAS NOT WORKING :( was created by donuts0509
Bought a 2860 - doesn't workwith my NAS. Before with the BT homehub it did. The NAS drive is WD My Cloud Mirror. Nothing has changed on the NAS drive. UPnP Service is enabled on the 2860. The NAS uses SMB 3, it's so annoying and really bugging me. The port forwarding seems quite confusing, if any body has any ideas, I would really appreciate it! I can ping the IP address of the NAS, and it resolves the name of the NAS device too.

First off "Gems of Wisdom" is probably not the best forum in which to ask for advice....

You don't say what "doesn't work" actually means - do you mean you can't see the NAS on your network , can't access it from an external IP or what?

If you're trying to forward ports to the NAS make sure they're not the same ones as the Draytek uses for management - e.g. change 80 to something else etc.

Use VPN if your going external. You shouldn't have any problems.
