No TX or CX errors at all? Is something wrong???

Hi,

Our Vigor 2860ac is working on an ADSL internet feed (G.dmt Annex A) , and we have been carrying out changes and tests to see if we can improve our ADSL 'marginal' connection which is around a 4mbps download speed. We are 2km from the exchange, but unfortunately we cannot get VDSL. (Even if we could it would only be around 8mbps download).

ISSUE
Using the 3.8.4.6. non-vector Firmware v2860_3846_nonvector.zip (v2860_3846_548006) we are surprised to see no TX or RX CRC errors - none at all !
Underneath is a picture of the Physical connection readouts after 6 hours - but as of Mondsy 4th Sept I've run this for 32 hours and had no errors after 24 hours using this particular firmware. During the 6 or 32 hour period there are no errors whist (mainly) downloading from Apple or going to the BBC, Youtube or various Forums on the internet. This does not seem right for our situation, or our experiences....in fact, it is usual for us to get approx 300 TX errors and 2000 RX errors in about 24 hours, using any of the other 3.8.4.6. firmware choices.

QUESTION
So, is this really no errors, is it a feature of using the non-vector builds, is it a bug, or something else?

Could someone kindly clarify so we know for sure?

Thanks in advance

T.
