Hi, I did a booboo..
I have a 2820Vn and will soon get BT infinity....(fftc is in in 'build status' on BT Openreach) so.....
I received a German used 2860Vn+ I bought today... I have it working.. i did this note with it !! but through ethernet WAN2 connected to the 2820.
I slapped the latest BT firmware on it, thought I'd bricked it..nope invalid firmware and it is Annex B IDSN !!
It was a mistake, I forgot about Annex B Hw for ISDN lines use...
I have firmware Vigor2860_annexB_ISDN_v3.8.5_VT3_en loaded on it, with vector modem codes 573307_571c02 & 565607_567002
2860Vn+ displays firmware version: 3.8.5_VT3 and DSL version: 571C02_B HW: B
I ordered an adapter RJ45 to RJ11 so I can at least plug it in and give it a try.. the cable did not show up yet...
Anybody have any idea If I could get this working in UK on a BT ADSL2+ or later a VDSL or both on a BT POTS line ?? or am I stuffed
and will have to make do with using WAN2 ethernet to the BT VDSL modem, when I can place an order/get it.
Cheers Smiler
