Vigor 130 Sky Fibre setup help please

Hi All,

I have read, (nearly everything) about getting the Vigor 130 up and running with Sky fibre max but for the life of me I can't get mine working.

I want to simply connect my Macbook to the 130 and get onto the internet, eventually integrating this into my home network with a switch and Unifi USG, but that's a problem for another day.

I have noticed from previous issues posted that my Vigor 130 seems to have a different admin interface, I suspect that is just a firmware update.

Steps taken:

Updated firmware to 3.8.1.2
Internet access > General setup > DSL Mode - "VDSL2 Only"
Rebooted

Internet access > MPoA / Static or Dynamic IP - "Enabled"
"Noticed that the Bridge mode and MAC address options became temporarily editable"
Rebooted

This is where I had to "guess/work out" the differences in the interface to enter the 60/61 information (numbers changed for obvious reasons)

Internet access > MPoA / Static or Dynamic IP > Advanced

Option number: 60
Data type: Ascii Character "2.01.1850.R|001|ER110|AC12345A123456"

Option number: 61
Data type: Ascii Character "a12a1aa12345@skydsl|123a12a1"

I left the DHCP options alone for now as it's connected directly to my laptop.

Is there anything I am doing wrong or are there additional steps I need to take?

Where did you get your Vigor 130 from?

There should be no differences in GUI on UK models.

A screenshot of your GUI might help.

I got the Vigor from Amazon.

My mistake about the screenshots, I was looking at the Draytek router screenshots.

I configured my Macbook with the following settings:



And the Vigor 130 with these settings, based of this thread - http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/sky/4478222-vigor-130-and-2925.html









I can't get onto the internet, any ideas?

Funny, I am having problems with my Vigor 130 (from Amazon)
Did you buy it from NetXL by any chance
?

As far as I know, NetXL sell legit/UK spec products so that's not the issue.
The box would always say 'UK' on it.

Just speak to support.

I have raised a Ticket with Support but have had no response.
