G1241 switch Port VLANS was created by gktechnology
We have our network configured as follows;

Internet <-> Cyberoam ng15 <-> Office LAN
¦
DMZ
¦
8 port Netgear Switch
¦
Public users

Cyberoam is DHCP server for DMZ with single range 192.168.100.X
Public users can connect to netgear switch and get and get access the internet and to other devices on the public LAN.

We want to replace this netgear switch with a G1241 smart switch and configure 2 VLANS but both VLANS need access to the DMZ on the Cyberoam e.g.
VLAN1 - Ports 1-10 + Port 23 +Port 24
VLAN2 - Ports 11 - 22 +Port 23 + Port 24

Our intention is to have the draytek switch port 24 connected to the DMZ and a MFP copier connected to port 23 so that both VLANS can receive IP addresses from the Cyberoam, share the MFP, get access to the internet but be isolated from the other VLAN.

In previous setups where there is a Draytek router instead of the cyberoam I have setup the VLANs in the router and linked a LAN to each port then hung a small switch off each port to achieve the same result.

I spoke to draytek pre-sales and they said that the VLAN configuration in the switch was the same as the routers but it most definitely is not. Has anyone configured a G1241 in this fashion or got any hints on how it should be done?

Thanks
George
