V2860 performance drop every morning was created by giacecco
I have noticed only recently - but the problem may be older - that both my V2860 downstream and upstream performance to the internet (BT Infinity 2) are dramaticallty bad in respect to a freshly rebooted device. To give you an idea of the magnitude, I have just tried and, before rebooting the router, I could not hit 7 Mbit/s downstream, after rebooting I see 42 Mbit/s. I'm running the latest firmware 3.8.6_BT .
The only "strange" thing that happens during the night is my working laptop backing up to a NAS, and the NAS itself backing up to AWS possibly - not always - large volumes of files, in both cases over ethernet, not wifi.
I did not expected the V2860 - a premium, SOHO-grade device - to be affected by such trivial usage, and requiring rebooting every morning![:-( :-(](/frown.gif)
Is it just me? Time to upgrade perhaps? Thank you for any advice.

Sounds like some other issues are afoot - line issues? What are the stats like?
My 2925 coupled with a 130 have no issues moving significantly large amounts of data about (LAN traffic is handled by a separate switch).
