Hi - I have just installed a Vigor 130 to support Netgear Orbi - and bounced my performance from 30Mbps to 60MBps!! Bye bye crappy V-fone router!!
Anyway - I wanted to login to the Vigor 130 to check firmware etc. I cannot see it from the attached devices etc.
I also can't access it on 192.168.2.1

Any advice for a Draytek Newbie?

What is your ip address at the moment? You might need to change your pc to a static ip of 192.168.2.2 on the same subnet to access it.

You will most likely have to connect a PC directly to the 130 in order to access it. Very few routers (AdrianH54's Asus ? and Drayteks (via a slightly convoluted virtual WAN setup, see other posts on this topic) ) afford the ability to access a 130 from the LAN.

Two ways but you'll have to plug a pc or laptop into the 130.

Way one create ppoe connection on the pc and type in 192.168.2.1 in a web browser

Way two setup the ethernet card with a static address of 192.168.2.x where x is 2 or higher a subnet mack of 255.255.255.0 . Set gateway to 192.168.2.1. You don't need the dns entries so you can ignore them and again type 192.168.2.1 in a web browser.

This is an area that Draytek need to improve on the Vigor 130

I'm also using a DrayTek Vigor 130 modem with a Netgear Orbi RBR50 router. Did you manage to find a solution where you can access the Vigor 130 UI without having to unplug it from your router?

My current workaround is to unpatch from router and connect directly to modem from PC (assigning a static ip to the PC on the same range as the modem).
