Close a port opened by UPnP was created by jncunliffe
Hi,

My Fing box is telling me that in the last day something, using UPnP, has opened up port 82 on my Vigor 2860. Does anyone know how can I confirm this directly on my router and if it is open, how can I closed it?

Cheers,
Jonathan

Does it show up in "Diagnostics" -> "NAT Sessions Table" :?:

To my mind, that says that the open port isn't there now...

On Windows 10, in "File Explorer" (of all places!), if you click "Network", you might/should see the 2860 listed under "Network Infrastructure".

Right-click and choose "Properties" -> "Settings...". Eventually, "Advanced Settings" appears and you can select a current UPNP mapping. "Edit" will show you the details.

There is a "Delete" option as well.

I don't think "Network Infrastructure" is a standard Windows tab. I've never seen it on any of my machines.

It's not a 'tab', it's in the "Navigation Pane" on the far left-hand side. It is entirely possible, that I clicked something, somewhere, at some point, to enable it :)

If you click "Network" in the left-hand pane, the right-hand pane shows "Computers", "Media Devices" and "Network Infrastructure".

There's probably another way to get to this same information...I just can't remember where I've seen it!

UPDATE - Might only be in the "Pro" edition, I suppose?

(Here's a link showing it (on someone else's PC):
