Draytek 2860 remote configuration was created by philguk
Obviously doing something wrong, but heaven knows what

I have changed the default Web Admin port to (say) 9999

I can connect to 192.168.0.1:9999 OK, but I can't seem to connect from the WAN side if I am away from home

Is there anything else I need to do??

Cheers

Phil G

Have you also ticked "Internet Access Control" >> [ ] Allow management from the Internet" ?

and also the "[ ]HTTP Server" field

You can also restrict access by IP address but when on dynamic DHCP with your ISP, it's not fool proof. It's a shame you can't specify the restriction by CNAME based off DDNS, e.g. mylaptop.ddns.net
