Roaming AP and Default Gateway was created by johnpa7
I have 3 AP and a 2860AC, I initially setup the AP "enable DHCP" roaming worked fine. I decide to disable "DHCP client" and set ip address
I set as follows

IP address 192.168.0.3 (each AP has address 192.168.0.4 192.168.0.5)
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.0.1 (the router address)

Could not login in to wifi, 2860ac central AP management they ap showed in red not found.
Removed the Default Gateway, everything working Ok.
I do have a 3com switch, as I prefer where possible to use wired connections.

I am posting this incase anyone else has a similar problem. I take it I was in error to add gateway address to AP

Mine are set the same way, and all show up. Static addresses, and connected through a Netgeat Prosmart PoE switch.

Yes. I should say that I'm using a 2925 and 2 x AP910c

Static addresses for the APs - IP, subnet, gateway (which is the 2925). All working as expected.

I have a 2862ac with 2xAP902 and 1xAP900, AP's all set with fixed IP's and default gateway 192.168.1.1 - set up works fine.

Thanks for the replies, as you were running a similar setup, factory reset. Start from the beginning the AP now have default gateway set and roaming is working again! Thanks for the replies.
