Vigor 2760 in bridge mode was created by nortieneil
Hi - I am new here - so please be gentle!

I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, I have just bought a Vigor 2760 (to replace an ageing Openreach HG612 modem) which is to connect to a Netgear Orbi mesh wifi system, which has its own DHCP server.

Can this unit just connect to BT Infinity and then let the Netgear kit do the DHCP business?

Secondly, when/if I ditch BT for Zen's fibre service with static IP, I take it this will be relatively straightforward for the Vigor to cope with?

Thank you for your help with my nervousness as a new customer!

Cheers

Neil

any luck

I have some Vigor 130's currently running and new upgrade from my ISP to supply SuperVectoring and they supplied me with 2760 , same casing as Vigor130

I'm hoping DHCP mode on the WAN2 of my BX2000ac may work and have the 2760 do DMZ to IP of WAN2 therefor bypassing firewall etc so BX2000ac is direct for VPN etc

2760 doesn't have - PPPoA-PPPoE or PPPoE-PPPoE Bridging (WAN to LAN)
