I have a 2860ac. I don't use the Wi-Fi on it as I already had two Apple airports in place when I got the Draytek.
What I want to do is to set up scheduled times when my kids cannot get onto the internet with the PS4.
I have configured Bind to IP for both the Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapters in the PS4. I have then created two IP Objects and created an IP Group with the two IP objects in it.
Next, I created 3 schedules:-
1 - Sunday through Thursday, Start time = 23:00 - duration = 18 hours
2 - Friday and Saturday, Start time = 01:00 - duration - 6 hours
3 - Sunday, Start Time = 10:30, duration = 2 hour (This is for my testing window).
Each of the 3 schedules is set to "Force On"
Following that, I go into Filter Setup and select Filter Set 2 (Default Data Filter). There is already a default rule setup as number 1, so I choose rule 2 and configure as follows:-
Enabled = Checked
Schedules = 1, 2, 3
Clear sessions when schedule ON = Checked
Direction = LAN/DMZ/RT/VPN -> LAN/DMZ/RT/VPN
Source IP = The name of the IP Opject Group that I created above
Destination IP = Any
Service Type = Any
Application, Filter = Block Immediately.
Once I have saved everything, and before Schedule 3 starts, I open BBC iPlayer on the PS4 and start playing a TV show. Now, I understand that some caching takes place, but I have been able to watch an entire 1 hour long episode of a programme. I was really hoping that I could get it to "cut off" as close to the start of the scheduled time as possible.
I can see that the schedule is active, as there is a green circle to the side of it.
Is there anything else I need to do to get this to work?
