Hi

Anyone know how to add a firewall block rule based on "Country Object"?

I can group countrys into a country object, but cant seem to find the object in the firewall rules page....

I've seen firewall rule screenshots on previous versions of routers where theres "Source IP/Country" & "Destination IP/Country". I dont see that on my 2862 (firmware 3.8.8_BT)

Unfortunately no... :( thanks all the same though

Here is the firewall rules page. Note no Country description next to Source / Destination IP. Theres also no Country object in address type dropdown?

Its as if the feature hasn't been fully implemented

I see what you mean :(

The Web Page I linked to, doesn't say which devices it applies to ... but the reference to V3.8.8 made me think the 2862 might be one of them. However, trying the the 2862 emulator ( http://eu.draytek.com:22862/ ) reveals the same behaviour.

I'm new here. Do you know if Draytek engineers frequent this forum? What are the chances that they'll investigate and fix?

No, they don't. You can contact Draytek support here: https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/techquery
