Is it possible to get a Non-vector firmware version of v3.8.8? The download section only shows the 3.8.8BT version which is currently incompatible with my line.

Yes, that's where I got my download from. I use Vector 1 modem code and hence downloaded "Vigor2860_v3.8.8-01v_en.zip".
The BT modem code has never been particularly stable for my setup. Good on DrayTek for offering different modem codes.

The 2860 modem variants were uploaded to the UK downloads section earlier today.

I fined the BT version very flakey,ive now found the V4 one and line speed sync is much higher
