I have a V2830Vn+ running the latest 3.8.8.2db firmware. This was uploaded using the web-based management interface. However, after experiencing a series of spontaneous reboots (several times an hour since this morning) I tried to re-program the firmware using the TFTP recovery method (https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-firmwarerecovery) and the Firmware Upgrade Utility 3.6.7. This was not successful - the TFTP transfer of the firmware file stopped at packet 17408 each time I tried it.
I used this method a few years ago (after being directed by DrayTek support) and found that it worked as expected.
I also tried the TFTP upload method in the web-based management interface but again found that the TFTP transfer stopped at packet 17408.
Could this be a problem that has been introduced by the latest firmware?
