Hi,

I have just installed a 2862n in place of an 2820n, and have encountered a problem, which is that my Google Chromecast dongle is no longer discovered by the Google Home app running on my Nexus 7. So I can't play videos via the Chromecast dongle. Most annoying!

The dongle is connected to my home lan by ethernet cable. The Google Home app runs on my Nexus 7 (2013), which is connected to the home lan via wifi. Simply swapping back from the 2862n to the 2820n restores discovery of the chromecast dongle!

Does anyone have any clue why this happens?

Any help gratefully received!

SSDP is busy in current 2860 firmware, maybe same in 2862 in which case explains your problem.

Up-date: Problem sorted by setting the DHCP start IP address for LAN 1 to 192.168.1.2 (was 192.168.1.10 for some reason).

Thanks for all suggestions.
