2860ac with 3.8.9.1 - Another issue? was created by ianfretwell
Having updated my 2860ac from 3.8.9 to 3.8.9.1 it has fixed the reboot issue.

But now I'm receiving these debug emails at least twice a minute (from the mail alert section) so I suspect there's something not quite right with this version too:-

@ianfretwell,

I think you need to raise a ticket with Draytek support for that. :cry:

John.

P.S. I was about to upgrade my 2860Vac, but I'll hold off for a while. :(

The router is sending cached debug logs from 3.8.9's restart problem - note the "CURRENT_VERSION : 3.8.9_RC8". It will stop doing that once it's sent out all of its logs from when your router was restarting on 3.8.9.

It only ever restarted the once though - and that was when I was logging on to install 3.8.9.1.

I've just re-enabled the debug emails to see - and sure enough, two per minute...every minute.

This is a bit defeatist I know - but if I thought raising a call would achieve anything other than being told to factory reset it and/or reflash it then I'd do just that. The forum always seems to produce better results - at least for me.
