Looking to see if this is feasible with the 2862 router.

The scenario is thus :-

2862 to replace an existing Netgear router serving a 192.168.1/24 network.

In the same premises there is separate 1.11.30/24 network managed by a major supplier of my customer (they resell products of this supplier).

My customer is looking to access resources on the 1.11.30/24 network from the 192.168.1/24 network - a couple of printers and logon to a CCTV server.

Can the 2862 have a port on the 1.11.30/24 network (for example port 4) and thus be able to route traffic across ? Bearing in mind that no access is allowed to the 1.11.30/24 router.

Advice most appreciated.

I'm not sure what that means. You can have a second subnet on the V2862 in the 1.11.30.x range
and then allow traffic to pass between the two.

The "1.11.30/24" router basically is reference to the router acting as the gateway for this subnet.

Easy enough thing to do then really, I think I was over-complicating the scenario
