Thrown in the deep end was created by pcourtney1
Hi Everyone,

I have taken over 7 sites that have Vigor 2960 routers, but no documentation, and no user names and passwords, and obviously no saved configs

I need to add some port forwarding to all 7, but can't really factory reset them all, well I am not relishing the thought of doing that

is it something Draytek can help me with - or am I stuffed

cheers to all
Peter

does anyone know if USB Auto Backup is enabled by default on the 29xx range of routers ?

maybe that's a way I can move ahead with this project

If you do not know the passwords, you will not be able to get into the routers.

USB backup is not enabled by default, and if it was used, it would likely be protected by a password too.
