Old configuration
WAN 1 - FIBRE VIA BT - PRIMARY CONNECTION
WAN 2 EFM VIA BT - FAILOVER
New Configuration
WAN 1 - FIBRE VIA BT - FAILOVER
WAN 2 - FIBRE VIA VIRGIN - PRIMARY CONNECTION
We have the above configuration where the WAN 2 is our primary connection via Virgin but wireless devices could not get internet access. The wireless devices can connect to the router but cannot access the internet. However, if we take out the WAN 2 cable and the failover kicks in (WAN 1) then the wifi devices get internet access. Everything worked great when we had the old configuration. When we added the Virgin connection apart from setting it up and configuring the failover no other settings were changed. No idea why our wireless devices cannot get internet access when WAN 2 (primary connection ) is plugged in.
The only thing we haven't tried is moving the virgin (primary connection )to WAN 1 and the BT failover to WAN 2
I'm hoping someone can enlighten me with a solution
Many Thanks
