Load Balancing on a 2925 but with a rules was created by systemshark
Morning,

Can Someone advise who I set up my load balancing? Does adding a rule work with session based load balancing.

So I have two Fibre lines here with a BT Openreach modem (wan1) and Vigor130 modem (wan2) into a 2925 router. I have the load balancing set to session based and I'm seeing the bundled capacity of around 60Mb. All working fine.

However the kids PlayStation 4 doesn't work over session based and requires all traffic to come from a single source IP address. Which of course Session based doesn't do that. So I'd like to keep session based but add a rule which allows the IP address of the Playstation (10.0.1.58) to routed up the Wan1.

Is this possible?

Some help please.

Thanks
Richard

I've not tried it with session based load balancing, but you should be able to set up route policy to direct traffic from the playstation over Wan1. Look under Routing -> Load-Balance/Route Policy.
