This morning I downloaded the latest firmware for our Vigor 2860.

The firmware shown in the Dashboard is 3.8.8.

However, after selecting the v2860_3893BT_576D17.all file from the upgrade section in the web interface and clicking the Upgrade button the 'current' and 'upgrade' versions are the same:

I'm confused

Can anyone explain why the current and upgrade versions are shown as being the same, please?

The numbers highlighted there are the modem code versions - that number indicates that it is the BT modem code used in the UK, which does not change between firmware versions - the "firmware version" listed in the preview is the firmware that the router will be updated to.
