Hi all

I have a 2860 unit with a vDSL connection that works great.
I wanted a failover option so I've also connected a K4605 USB dongle with a Vodafone data contract SIM.

I tested the dongle on a laptop... retrieved the APN details from the Vodafone software and they are as follows:-
APN - wap.vodafone.co.uk
login/password - wap/wap

The failover works perfectly. I pull the vDSL cable and the Dongle dials out the PPP connection and all looks to be working as required... however...

UPDATE - All resolved. I added a Load Balace/Route Policy and enabled the failover settings in there too.




I get no Internet connection.

The PPP connection is established for the USB dongle and it shows Tx and Rx packets (in small numbers) and I get assigned an external IP address from Vodafone but, for some reason, any device connected via the Draytek cannot see the internet unless the vDSL connection is active.

Is there something else that needs setting up on the Draytek? Routing table entry???
