arp cache table "port" numbers was created by machman
Hi guys,
Have you noticed the port numbers on the arp cache table display? the "P" numbers are obviously hardware ports and "S1-6" numbers are SSID based. But I get "S48" "S49" and "S50". I could just ignore, but there might be something useful for diagnostics at some point.

Any ideas?
Cheers
R

Do you have any static routes defined?

Do you allow inter-lan routing In which case I'd hazard a guess to say that these are static routes created between the LAN interfaces or failing that the 'S' might stand for a stale record from an old IP lease from a DHCP server. Unfortunately I no longer have a Draytek router to test but a stale record should be easy enough to check

yep, stale arp entries! If I ping the address the SXX goes away!
