Draytek 3900 - DMZ was created by philipluke
Hi, there are a number of guides to setup WAN3 as a DMZ subnet, which I have followed. The problem is that it doesnt work. Ive tried directly connecting a PC onto the WAN3 Ethernet subnet and assigned an IP in the subnet, but when I ping the Interface IP it doesnt respond. Ive configured the PC to use the DMZ Interface IP as the Gateway IP, and set PC DNS to point to Google DNS server, and this doesnt work either. The way I understand it is that traffic from the DMZ out to the Internet doesnt need any rules to be implemented, so I am confused as to just what is going on. Does anyone has a good guide as to the process of setting up a DMZ interface, and ability to route from DMZ to LAN and also out to Internet too? Thanks for any help.

Phil

Well, this looks to be an odd networking issue with HyperV. Ive resolved this for now but have another issue with Clustering which I will create a new post for.
