unknown network segment was created by jameswiltshire
Hi,

I have a draytek 3900 setup with a few vlans. Draytek 3900 connects to a netgear switch.

vlan 10 has a windows 2016 server running dhcp which vlan 10 devices get the ip addresses from. I have changed vlan 20 so that the dhcp on the draytek 3900 is turned off and enabled the relay to point to vlan 10 for the dhcp server.

Devices on vlan 20 are now showing the following in the syslog

<30>Mar 23 10:05:17 Vigor: dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 10.0.1.12 (10.0.0.5) from 00:15:65:a4:ee:1a via 10.0.1.1: ignored (unknown subnet).<30>Mar 23 10:05:28 Vigor: dhcpd: DHCPINFORM from 10.0.1.12 via 10.0.1.1: unknown subnet for address 10.0.1.1

Any ideas what this is? Can it be ignored or do i need to add some settings in the netgear switch or dhcp server?

Thanks

James
